Examine your relationship to tefillah (prayer) by exploring how tefillah was understood by the rabbis of our Midrashim. Through midrashic narratives, we will examine what the rabbis thought about the point of praying, whether believing is an essential component of prayer, and how the words of the siddur (prayer book) can aid or inhibit our experience of prayer. 

Led by Rabbi Judy Greenberg, this class will take place in the Library Beit Midrash from 10:30 to 11:15, ending in time to hear Rabbi Forester's D'var Torah in the sanctuary.  Next session: March 2.
