Imagine a night of fine wine and food with your friends. Laughter, cameraderie and the Mexican-themed decor will help you forget that it’s winter in Wisconsin.
After schmoozing over appetizers and drinks, you’ll find your place at your candlelit table, elegantly set with crystal goblets, and a large Joker in the middle.
The Joker is your card to play when your team wants to double the points in the round of your choosing. Will you play your joker before or after the first course? It’s a gamble — you don’t know for certain if “Saucy Fellows” will require you to name famous stand-up comedians or identify assorted condiments. What may be asked of you in the “Monster Transportation” round? These were two of the round names from the 4th Annual Supper Quiz. Only quiz master David Baum knows what’s in store for this year’s participants.
Introduced to Madison in 2007, the Supper Quiz is quickly becoming a Beth Israel tradition. It’s a fabulous combination of witty, intellectual entertainment and scrumptious foods. Plus the proceeds support a good cause — our shul.
To reserve your place at a table, send your name with or without the names of up to seven teammates. Individuals and groups of fewer than eight will be combined with other contestants to form teams of up to eight. The event is limited to 10 teams, so reserve soon!
