Beth Israel Center is about to embark on an exciting, rare cultural endeavor by way of hosting a concert of ‘Yiddish Cabaret’ in our synagogue, on our Bimah, on Sunday evening, May 6, at 7:00 pm!

In May 2016, The New Budapest Orpheum Society performed in Madison as part of a University-sponsored week-long series of performance events called ‘Out of the Shadows: Discovering the Jewish Archive’. The group is an Ensemble-in-Residence in the Humanities Division at the University of Chicago.

We are thrilled to bring them back to Madison for this exciting program.
